Blackrock Market is one of Ireland's best run and most successful weekend markets.

There are quite a few things about our market that make it unique, starting with its very location. Blackrock Village is an elegant South Dublin residential area, winding its beautiful houses and green lawns right on the shore of Dublin Bay. On your left side the sea captures the entire horizon and makes you gasp and wonder. There is a certain, unexpected feeling of holiday, and by the time you reach the market's entrance you already know the day will be one to remember.

The market itself is situated on no ordinary land. The house is a true Georgian, over 250 years old, with all its features virtually intact. Historically, the building was a famous coach inn on the busy eastern trade corridor. It is a place rich in memories, with rare architecture, well worth a visit by itself. Stepping through the entrance tunnel you'll be captured by its charm and almost hear its memories.
The sky is painted with petals, flowers hang from the clouds and you half expect to encounter a princess. A real one.

It is at this moment when the shopping adventure takes over and you realise that you won't be merely browsing through countless shelves, but instead, engaging in a much more thrilling experience; a treasure hunt!

Time stands still, open to both old and new, past and future. You're surrounded by a myriad of possibilities, all waiting to be discovered.
Inside one shop Elvis plays his guitar on original vinyl disks, while around the corner, 450 years old coins, from the times of Queen Elizabeth I, are proudly displayed in the windows. Rare objects from Victorian and Georgian period sit side by side with beautiful designs in Art Deco or Art Nouveau. Antique and vintage mix together with modern and contemporary for a most exciting treasure hunting adventure.
The choice of everything art is truly impressive: silver and gold, wood and porcelain, furniture and paintings, clothing or jewellery, and that's to mention only a few!

Although Blackrock Market prides itself with its well known art dealers, they are by no means its only attraction.

Over 50 shops are ready to be discovered and the mix is eclectic.

Established in 1986 the market has won an unrivalled reputation amongst Dublin's art and bargain hunters.

Loved by Dubliners and tourists alike, a visit to Blackrock Market, remains over the years a wonderful day out for the entire family.
